The Jim Gibney Memorial Race 2021 - Aug 1st (Sun)

Returning in 2021, after sadly missing 2020 due to the pandemic. The second running of the annual 'Jim Gibney Memorial Race'. In memory of our good friend and KillaKwads co-founder, Jim. 

This is the fourth 'official' race event run by the KillaKwads community and promises to be our best ever. This time we are proud to announce that this event will be a British National Qualifying Event (BQE). By competing at the event you will score points towards the chance to take part in the 2021 British National Championships. You must be a member of the British Drone Racing Association prior to the event for your points to count towards national statistics.

The venue is a private Rugby Club, Old Yardleians RFC, Solihull, West Mids. Which comes complete with secure parking (on hard standing), open bar for hot and cold drinks, indoor toilets, and some limited access to electricity.

A barbeque will be provided by the very best culinary expert ever to wear Fatshark goggles. Mr CheFPV himself will be flipping burgers and popping fresh pizzas in his pizza oven. There is no charge for food. But there is a donation tin by the BBQ that we would be chuffed if you popped something into.

Entry fee: £25 for BDRA members and £27 for non-BDRA members.
Please ensure you check your BDRA status in your iFPV pilot profile before signing up to the event for the discount to apply.

Entry limit for this event will be - 36 pilots
