BDRA British Championships 2023 - Sep 16th - 17th (Sat - Sun)

Congratulations to those of you who have qualified for the BDRA British Championship 2023 and we look forward to welcoming you all as we run the final event of the year to crown our British Drone Racing Champion for the 2023 season!

We are very lucky to have again been supported with the British Championship venue by the BMFA at their Headquarters in Buckminster.

Please note: This sign-up is only for BDRA members who have received an invite. If you are not a BDRA member, or have not received an invite, your sign-up will sadly be rejected.

Planned Schedule of Racing (subject to change)

Saturday - 9:00 am – 5:30 pm - British Championship Finals Qualifying Stages (followed by BDRA AGM from approx 6:00 pm - seperate comms to follow)

Sunday – 9:00 am – 12:00 noon (approx) – British Championship Finals Qualifying Stages

Sunday – 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm (approx) – British Championship Finals Stages 

We will be utilising the Race Directing services, and the inflatable gated course, from Westland Drone Racing Events (with some additional track components) – and the event will be live-streamed by Drone Racing Streams.

Registration will be £60 for invited BDRA members. Only invited qualifying pilots will be able to sign up for this event.

This fee includes camping on-site at BMFA headquarters from the Friday evening (15th September) if any Pilots wish to use the facilities. It will also include a Championship T-Shirt for each entrant and we can now confirm that a full Pilot Pit Marquee is being erected at this Champs event to bring that comrade spirit!

As part of your sign-up you will be asked for a t-shirt size (PLEASE SELECT FROM DROPDOWN LIST!). NOTE: If a size is not selected then you will be ordered a Large as standard!

We kindly ask that anyone signing up ensure that they can compete on both main flying days - Saturday and Sunday. If you are only able to compete on one of the days please let the BDRA know in advance who can advise if it is possible.

The Pilot Pack, along with the heat lists, race format and any further important information will be distributed to all registered pilots in the run-up week to the event.

The heat lists will be posted on this event page on the evening of Wednesday 13th September.
