Shuttleworth Summer Fete 2026 - Jul 4th - 5th (Sat - Sun)

The BDRA has been invited to be part of the Shuttleworth Summer Fete on 4th/5th July 2026 and this will be run as a Qualifying event for the 25/26 Championship.

Please bring your Gazebo's for the pit area. A large Gazebo will be provided for the pilot line ready for racing on the Saturday and Sunday. Our provisional calendar is:

Saturday

08:00 - Site open to pilots.

08:30 - Pilot check-in and scrutineering 

09:15 - Pilot safety briefing

09:30 - 17:00 Heats of 6 pilots at a time.

Sunday

9:30 - Two further rounds of qualifying and then finals for all.

16:00 - Prizegiving and track takedown

£60 Entry fee includes a ticket to view the https://www.shuttleworth.org/events/summer-fete-open-weekend and overnight camping (we are just waiting to get the final details of the camping from Shuttleworth)

This is a public event and we are hoping that many of you will engage with the public to promote drone racing.  We will provide a 'have a go' (line of site) drones for the public to try.
