Hello everyone.
We are really excited to announce our BQEs in 2024 at EMHC. If you have not been to us before we are club near Brands Hatch in Kent and the What 3 Words that point to us are ///punch.song.maybe We will have limited camping available or we help you look for other accomodation if you are travelling from afar. AirBNB's, etc
There will be up to 36 pilot slots available and we will start at 10AM. A hot meal will be provided midway through the day (so let us know if you have any allergies / strong preferences). Pilot packs will be sent out approximately 1 week before the event. We will have some power available but please bring an extension lead / generator / power pack if you have one.
This will be a Qualifier Event for the 2023/24 British Championship i.e. part of the series to qualify for the British Champs (and to get into Team GBR)
The entry fee is £33, reduced to £30 for BDRA members. Camping £5 / night
Club rules require all pilots to be BMFA insured. If you do not have BMFA insurance then you will need to apply in advance via the BMFA website for temporary membership (if you do not know how to do that email and we will let you know)
We will try to get a minimum of 10 rounds of qualifying to decide the main finals and will be following the new ruleset (fastest 3 laps in qualifying, etc) and plan to run to the following schedule
9:00 Registration, Failsafe and insurance checks
9:45 Pilot briefing (if you are not there for the briefing then you will miss any round that has started)
10:00 Qualifying starts
13:00 Short break for lunch
13:30 Qualifying resumes
15:30 Qualifying concludes, 5 min break to arrange finals
15:45 Mains start
16:30 Prize giving

[Cancellation policy. You may withdraw from the event 2 weeks before the day and you will receive a 100% refund of your race fee. If you pull out after that then we will refund your race fee if we can fill your position. If the event is postponed because of the weather then we will carry over your entry to our reserve date which is 18th August 2024]
