We have permission from our amazing venue, Bromsgrove RFC, to stay and play, all day! So get those day passes signed off. Get those packs charged. For an amazing day of race practice and shenanigans!
Our Friday Practice League sessions are a chilled event with friends. With a focus on having fun, getting into the 'groove' of what to expect at race event in a chilled way, and ripping some packs. In a controlled, safe environment. With excellent track equipment and lap timing kit. But It's not about who is fastest. It is about having a good time with friends (and who is fastest).
Attending this event will score you points towards the "KillaKwads Friday League". With the chance to take away fantastic plastic trophies, maybe.
ALL ABILITIES ARE WELCOME. If you can't make it though a gate just fly the 'spirit of the track' (above the gates on the general line of the track) till your abilities and confidence improve. Everyone crashes the first time. We even now have some trees that you can flirt with if you get the urge.
There is NO ELECTRICITY available at this venue. Bring a field pack!
The KillaKwads team will be on site at 10am to start laying out a track. Any help with track layout is appreciated!
Cost per practice is £5 per flying pilot (£5.25 if Using PayPal) (spectating is free and if you break everything on the first pack you don't have to pay). This fiver covers race equipment maintenance costs and Cerbie's ever spiraling petrol bill. If you would like to pay cash on the day, drop me a message and I will add you to the pilot list!
LiveTime and LapRF8 - Lap timing equipment (with speakers so you can hear the beeps) will be in use at our practice sessions so you can claim bragging right on your fast laps. Results can be found at https://fpvracingsolutions.livefpv.com/
