Come join SGDC for our open whoop fun race and league.
SATURDAY, 18th FEB, 2023 AT 4 PM – 9 PM
And we have a new amazing venue for our whoop nights at YOSC (Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, Broad Lane (Behind Brimsham Green School), Yate, BS37 7LB)
So there will be an awesome track with loads of LED gates, power for charging, A full timing system and race management, qualifying round to seed people into rounds with pilots of the same skill and then head to head racing. We will also be doing some team racing (depending on number of people attending) and/or a half time LOS (line of sight) fun race where everyone can all race at the same time and lots of other fun things we have planned
Also for any new or seasoned pilots some of us will be in the cafe before we kick off to help sort any technical issues and give any advice you might need to get started
Full cafe/Bar on site for hot and cold food and Drinks
We are asking for a £8 donation for a single session (cash or paypal) on the night. Or, join our membership for £6 monthly and get every session free!
spectator's are free so if you want to come down and chat about how to get in to the sport/hobby please do
There is no need to book but it will make it easier for us to know numbers so if you could say you are coming on our facebook event page that would be great.
